Mar 1 – Lent Project – Rick Lee James

On March 1, 2013 by Eddie

Today we’re joined by a friend of mine from Ohio, Rick Lee James. Rick is a great guy, worship leader, songwriter, and someone who jumped in last year to follow the AdventProject along with us. Hope you enjoy the morning! -Eddie

Hey everyone!  My name is Rick Lee James, and I’m happy to be with you for day #17 of our Lenten journey.  (It’s also the day my new Live concert album and DVD “Basement Psalms Live” is released…so It’s a really exciting day for me.)

I am an Indie musician, a podcast host (Voices In My Head), an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene, a worship leader at First Church of the Nazarene in the Springfield Ohio, a comic book collector, husband to Jenn, and father to my newborn baby, Alexander Grayson James.

I’m honored to be able to share in the reading of God’s word today on the World Day of Prayer. As we as we listen and pray together, let’s allow God to form us into His image. As we rejoice in the gift of this new day, may the light of God’s presence fill us with love for Him and our fellow man. May the holy God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Abide with us now and for ever.

– Rick
